Frodo's Ballot Recommendations for Taxpayers
Frodo takes a position on issues of direct concern to taxpayers. He takes a position on ballot measures that will impact the economy and your lifestyle. This is because he knows from painful experience that when the economy turns sour and tax revenues go down, governments’ usual first reaction is to reach for the taxpayer’s wallet. Frodo is fighting for you.
Frodo Recommends:
Prop. 13 – YES - Exempts earthquake retrofitting from reassessment
Prop. 14 – NO - Makes it easier to elect pro-tax candidates
Prop. 15 – NO - Public funding of political campaigns
Prop. 16 - YES - Two-Thirds Vote Requirement for Local Public Electricity Providers
Prop. 17 - NO - Allows Auto Insurance Companies to Base Their Prices in Part on a Driver's History of Insurance Coverage. This would allow insurance companies to raise premiums on millions of good drivers in California
Frodo also urges a vote of NO on all local bonds that do not require a two-thirds vote for passage.
Favorite Candidates Frodo Endorses: Senate - Chuck Devoir, Steve Poizner is the least offensive candidate, Orlie Taitz, just because!
