Lightsaber

Lightsaber
It springs to life

when it leaps to his hand

as it sings through the air

clashing and crackling

when he and his opponent connect.

Blue and red hum through the air

as he forces him back to the wall

and lunges again

using all the power and strength of the Force,

wins the battle

and bends down to pick up

his opponent's

lightsaber.
