Running Out of Fossil Fuels?

Thirty years ago the alarmists were saying it was just a matter of a few decades before we run out of fossil fuels. That may still be the case, but with the increased consumption of the developing countries like China, the situation is probably worse than they anticipated. But if we run out of fossil fuels, we will directly reduce the CO2 that we put in the atmosphere. Hence global warming will be solved automatically. No more fossil fuels, no global warming. As a side benefit, we will have no more wars in the Middle East, Chaves and Ahmadinejad will be run out of office, and we will be energy independent because the oil rich countries won’t have any oil to peddle. The future is bright!
