Thought something was not as gripping, additive in Odd Hours as the previous books but didn't really know what it was until I read similar reviews. I need Odd to go home too. In the last couple of books Odd doesn't even let those people who love him back at home know that he's okay....Odd needs to FOCUS, connect back with his solid Pico Mundo roots, and quit floating around the fog of vagueness that is Annamaria.

Pinnacles National Park

So the park ranger says to his wife, "I saw the funniest thing at work
today. A group of soldiers took a white school bus up Hwy 146 into
Pinnacles National Park. Who would be crazy enough to do that?"

Endangered Species

So lets say you can propagate a species, be it a flower, frog, or
fowl, why does it need to be endangered and on the list? Or is it
about protecting habitat for bugs and bunnies, which could potentially
be relocated to less desirable human habitations? And I further
believe military installations should be exempt from protecting said
bugs and bunnies due to national security concerns. Ok I better not
post this on Facebook.
