Hamster Stopped by to Smell the Flowers

Well it is raining cats and dogs right now, thunder and lightning, but this morning it was nice.  Hamster got out of his bunk to stop by to smell the roses.  It has been difficult to capture Hamster with pictures recently because he works all night.  I'll try to get him up more often for pictures.  Did you miss him?  Brendan was just asking how Hamster was doing.

It was Hamster's first 5K road race and he did really well. I did 27:35, Hamster trained behind me at 28:09, which isn't bad for me, after recovering from my back injury. I took several pictures of Hamster racing, one at the start and one at the finish. Hamster took a picture of me at the end. By the way, it was 42 degrees this morning. Hamster and I were both cold. My Ipod didn't very good night/early morning pictures either, and it was really hard to take a picture of a hamster running, but this is what we got...

Hamster Goes to the Gym

Hi All,

Hamster went to the gym today.  It was blustery and rainy out today and inside the gym was probably the driest place to be.  Here we see Hamster on the dreaded treadmill, working out on the weight bar, and doing some aerobics on the large ball.  He had a good time.  He could be ready for the MLK 5K on Sunday.  Do we have a predicted time for Hamster?

What Hamster Did Today

Ah Hamster wasn't that busy today.  He had to wait for the bus to get to the Main PX, he hung out in the chow hall conference room, and he made some calls at the Phone Center.  Just another day for Combat Hamster.

What Was Hamster Up to Today?

Hamster was out and about again today.  I caught him gazing at the moon, right before a large storm dumped tons of rain on our heads.  He was pondering a new career possibility, "Slow Down, You are going too fast!"  Traffic Cop?  And he found another one of those MRAP vehicles he would really like.  Can you imagine going to Wal Mart in one of these?

Hamster's Travels

Today we had dinner with the 380th folks at the opulent chow hall.  Yes, they even have silverware there.  Hamster was amazed and he liked the glasses.  He also got to send a note or two at the Internet cafe.  The cafe was empty, maybe because most people have their own computers nowadays.  And finally, Hamster wanted to play Where's Waldo at the Rug Dealer.  Can you find Hamster?

What Kind of Trouble Did Hamster Get Into Today?

Hamster was really busy eating out, working, and trying to access classified information.  He was also looking for a new ride also.  How do you like this hog?  Or do you prefer the Dessert Bar? 

What is Hamster Up to Today?

Today, Hamster has been busy with work, finding new transportation, and finding a place to park.  Do you like his new ride?  All his parking spots were full today.  Poor Hamster.  So he has been busy with the usual meetings and staying out of trouble.
